Favourite subject: Health and Social Care

What is your proudest moment during your time here so far?

My proudest moment is when I completed the tours with the headteachers from other schools because I was able to share what I loved most about KES, like our new facilities.
 

What are your favourite extra-curricular activities to take part in?

My favourite extra-curricular activity is badminton after school as it is a easy and nice way to take your mind off of school work with your friends.


What do you feel is unique about KES?

I feel the teachers personalise their teaching strategies depending on where you’re at with your learning, getting the best outcome for us as students.


What do you plan to do once you leave KES?

I’d like to go to KES Sixth form to hopefully study Psychology and Sociology.
 

What would be your advice to students looking to start at KES?

The advice I would give to students looking to join KES is always follow SLANT and STEPS and enjoy it.

Favourite subject: Science or PE

What is your proudest moment during your time here so far?

Playing in the school’s rugby team, and having an opportunity to play as part of a team on a pitch.
 

What are your favourite extra-curricular activities to take part in?

Taking part in House events or the rugby after school on a Monday. I like team sports, like running and swimming.
 

What do you feel is unique about KES?

It stands out from all the rest, especially their after-school clubs, the new facilities, and it’s history. I love that even after the great remodel recently they’ve been able to keep so much of the character.
 

What do you plan to do once you leave KES?

I’ll go to Sixth Form here and study Science or Engineering. I want to be an F1 Driver or Engineer when I grow up.
 

What would be your advice to students looking to start at KES?

Give it a try, there are so many opportunities, especially sport and music options. I’ve had a couple of friends who transferred here and you get used to it quickly, the teachers are very nice and they support you a lot.

What is your proudest moment during your time here so far?

My proudest moment while being at KES has been competing in various cross country competitions and representing the school.
 

What are your favourite extra-curricular activities to take part in?

After school sports clubs like badminton and athletics are my favourite extra-curricular activities.
 

What do you feel is unique about KES?

The history of the school is extremely unique and creates a sense of interest and community among students.
 

What do you plan to do once you leave KES?

I plan to use the knowledge I have learned to develop my Computer Science skills and become a Developer.
 

What would be your advice to students looking to start at KES?

To take part in as many opportunities as possible and just try your best.

What is your proudest moment during your time here so far?

I’m really proud of all the things I have achieved here so far.

What are your favourite extra-curricular activities to take part in?

My favourite extra-curricular activity is football or badminton.

What do you feel is unique about KES?

I feel KES is unique because they give a wide range of different sports to give and taking us to fixtures.

What do you plan to do once you leave KES?

When I leave KES, after completing Sixth Form here, I would like to pursue a career in medicine.

What would be your advice to students looking to start at KES?

My advice to students starting at KES is not to hold back, there are so many opportunities here, you just need to embrace them. The staff are really nice and are always willing to help. The pastoral team are like having a mum or dad in school to support any need.
